Mrs Makanjuola popularly known as Nikki is an exceptional and inspirational leader.  She has lived in Peterborough for over 18 years and is married with 2 children. Nikki is a passionate and self-driven professional with several years’ experience working in Banking, Education, Central/Local Government sectors in various capacities bringing about transformations.  Nikki became the President of the Nigerian Community in Peterborough in June 2022, before then she was a member of the executive committee for many years.  

She is committed to bringing innovative ideas to promote the Nigerian Community in Peterborough. My passion for my community stems from my desire to teach my children about their heritage and inspire them to appreciate our rich and diverse culture.  I am interested in promoting community cohesion and building bridges. As a Chartered Accountant I believe in been accountable to the people I serve. I believe in tenacity, giving my 100% in what I do. I hope this serves me well in delivering the needs of the people in my community.

Hi, I am Busayo Obhiebor-Thomas. Originally from Osun State in Nigeria. Relocated to the UK over a decade ago and currently lives in Peterborough City.

I am Sanusi Shaiyen, I am one of the founding members of the Nigerian Community in Peterborough organisation.  I am a Nigerian, married and the father of three amazing children.
 
I have an interest in community cohesion and have enjoyed building a sustainable platform that we can leave as a legacy for our children. We are proud of where we have come from and would like more Nigerians to join us in making our mark on our great city.

Mrs Igbodudu is a Manufacturing professional with decades of experience working in various blue-chip organizations. Professional skills include Auditing,  Operations management, leadership capability development, Business Performance Management, Quality Management System, Food Safety, and Legal and  Regulatory Compliance.

Currently involved as a volunteer in a number of community events in the local area and some Charity Organisations.

She is very passionate about people and enjoys working with good honest people who are the very best at what they do. She enjoys traveling and meeting people.
